Family Kits and Personal Hygiene Kits Were Released from the DELSA Satellite Warehouse in Chainat, Thailand
The ASEAN Coordinating Centre for Humanitarian Assistance on disaster management (the AHA Centre) continued to support Department of Disaster Prevention & Mitigation (DDPM) Thailand for the emergency response operations in the 13 areas affected by flooding due to the influence of Tropical Cyclone Noru. A total of 3,500 ASEAN family kits and 9,000 personal hygiene kits were released from the DELSA Satellite Warehouse in Chainat, Thailand and are now being distributed by DDPM Thailand to the affected communities. The AHA Centre commends DDPM Thailand for the ongoing efforts to help alleviate the suffering of the communities affected by the floods.
