JENESYS2018 In-bound Program (ASEAN Youth Leaders Exchange: ASEAN 10 Countries and Timor-Leste)

One hundred and seven (107) college students from 10 ASEAN countries (Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Viet Nam) and Timor-Leste, as part of the “ASEAN Youth Leaders Exchange Program,” will visit Japan from 19 to 26 March.

The participants are divided into four groups according to themes of “tourism and food, disaster prevention technology, history and environment of manufacturing, and historical heritage protection.” They will visit theme-related facilities in Tokyo, Hokkaido, Miyagi, Aichi, Gifu, and Okayama prefectures. The group will deepen the understanding of Japan widely through site visits and interaction with local residents. In addition, at the debriefing session before returning from Japan, participants will share experiences with each other.

The JENESYS2018 is an exchange programme for the youths of Japan and ASEAN.
