JENESYS2018 Lao PDR

Sixteen high school and university students stayed in Japan from 16-23 October 2018 to participate in the JENESYS2018 Inbound Program Lao PDR with the theme “Environment and Disaster Prevention Technology.” The delegates experienced Japanese disaster prevention and culture through visits in cities, which received tremendous damages from the devastating tsunami caused by the Great East Japan Earthquake. The delegates also participated in a disaster prevention field tour called “the road of survivors (Inochi no Michi).”

The JENESYS2018 is an exchange programme for the youths of Japan and ASEAN.
