The Attachment Programme for Officers from CLMV Countries
Today, officers from Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, and Viet Nam (CLMV) completed their one-year attachment at the ASEAN Secretariat. The attachment programme, supported by the Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF), contributes to the implementation of the Initiative for ASEAN Integration (IAI). In the past year, the attachment officers participated in a training on diplomacy and foreign relations, a study visit to Japan, and were directly involved in the activities and work of the ASEAN Secretariat, including participation in ASEAN events and meetings
This programme is part of JAIF projects namely IAI Attachment Programme at the ASEAN Secretariat for Junior Diplomats of Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar and Viet Nam (14th Batch) and 3rd Batch: Attachment of Officers from Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, and Viet Nam (CLMV) for AEC and ASCC Involvement at the ASEAN Secretariat (2015)
