Winner of the AHAckathon
Team 1B’s proposed app Smart ASEAN Disaster Relief App (SMART ADRA) won the first place of the AHAckathon. They offered an integrated dashboard and app for end-to-end coordination of the disaster relief process. SMART ADRA’s distinction is the key features aimed at each level of disaster response: Victims and those affected by disaster can make use of the app’s feature to request for help, as well as news updates and chatbot feature to communicate their needs and stay informed. When help arrives, they can use the QR authentication system to confirm receipt of aid, helping to reduce redundancy and oversupplying.
Overview of the app is available on the AHA Centre’s YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EcTzPHcqj8w
AHAckathon is part of the Establishment of a Disaster Emergency Logistic System for ASEAN (DELSA) – Phase II: Satellite Warehouse project supported by the Government of Japan through Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF).
