Ambassador Sunaga’s participation in the Regional Autism Awareness Day (4th ASEAN Autism Network Congress) under the Autism Mapping Project in the ASEAN Region

On October 20, H.E. Kazuo Sunaga, Ambassador of Japan to ASEAN, attended the opening ceremony of an enlightenment event for the Regional Autism Awareness Day in Jakarta, which is part of the Autism Mapping Project in the ASEAN Region implemented by the Asia-Pacific Development Center on Disability (APCD). The government of Japan is supporting this project through the Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF). At this event, athletes with autism held a parade, and the participants interacted with each other through sports activities such as running and swimming, which led to the awareness of autism.
