AJCCBC Cybersecurity Capacity Building Workshop 2021
On Wednesday, 11 August 2021, ASEAN-Japan Cybersecurity Capacity Building Centre (AJCCBC) conducted “AJCCBC Cybersecurity Capacity Building Workshop”, an online workshop concentrating on two of many cybersecurity essences – “Executive Cyber Leadership” and “Course, Training, Education, and Awareness (TEA)”. In order to create a more robust cyber space within ASEAN Member States, the workshop, with the support from ASEAN Secretariat, invited and was joined by 80 participants across the region.
Despite being a one-day session, the workshop was able to provide a productive session by having experienced and knowledgeable professionals from various well-respected and recognized organizations, including Mr. Atsushi Umino from Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC), Japan, Mr. Martijn Van de Heide from ThaiCERT, Mr. Barry Greene from Akami, Mr. Shin Adachi from NTT-CERT, Mr. Adli Wahid from APNIC, and Sharon Mudd from Software Engineering Institute. Their time and efforts are highly appreciated and valuable to the cybersecurity field.
The AJCCBC is supported by the Government of Japan through Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF)
