JENESYS Webinar “Japanese Food and Seasonings”
The JENESYS webinar on Japanese Food and Seasonings was held on 18 November 2021. A student from Ibaraki University delivered a presentation on Japanese food, Ibaraki Prefecture, attractions of the prefecture, and local cuisine. The participants observed the production process of mayonnaise and dressing at Goka factory of Kewpie located in Ibaraki Prefecture where factory staff explained the history of Kewpie mayonnaise, its ingredients, how to make delicious dressing, and also the company’s various efforts. The participants came to know that Kewpie mayonnaise is also eaten in space.
