JENESYS2019 Japan Exchange Program for Promoting Understanding of Japan (5th Batch) (Country: Laos, Theme: Disaster Prevention/Environment)
From October 15 (Tuesday) to October 23 (Wednesday), 19 university students fromLaos who are interested in disaster prevention and the environment will visit Japan.The group plans to visit disaster prevention/environment related facilities and visit Hiroshima University as a program with the theme of “disaster prevention/environment.” In addition, at the workshop and debriefing session before returning home, they will create an action plan after returning home and share and deepen knowledge among participants.
Through this program, it is expected that young people who will lead the future of Laos will deepen their knowledge according to their themes, deepen their understanding and interest in Japanese culture, and become an active transmitter ofJapanese attractions after returning to Japan.
The JENESYS2019 is an exchange programme for the youths of Japan and ASEAN.
