Courtesy Visit to Lao Department of Irrigation

VIENTIANE, 26 September 2024 – JMT Director Naoki Minamiguchi and JMT Programme Coordinator Zin Aung Swe paid a courtesy visit and held a meeting with officials from the Department of Irrigation, Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of the Lao PDR. The officials warmly welcomed and received the JMT delegation.

During the meeting, JMT shared key project management principles and practices, expressing the hope that the proponent will effectively manage the project once it becomes operational. The proponent expressed appreciation for the Government of Japan’s support through JAIF.
