Deputy Secretary-General for ASEAN Meets with Ambassador of Japan to ASEAN

Deputy Secretary-General for ASEAN Political-Security Community Michael Tene met with Ambassador of Japan to ASEAN KIYA Masahiko at the ASEAN Secretariat earlier today. Both sides exchanged views on ASEAN-Japan cooperation and on the deliverables for the 50th Year of Dialogue Relations, particularly the implementation of projects under the Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF) to support cooperation in the key areas of the ASEAN Outlook on the Indo-Pacific (AOIP).
