The Myanmar Productivity Center is in full operation, and a ceremony to be established in Yangon on June 22 (Saturday) as a base to improve “Myanmar style” productivity

The Japan Productivity Headquarters (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Chairman: Yuzaburo Mogi), in cooperation with the Ministry of Industry of Myanmar and the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI), has been supporting the establishment of the Myanmar Productivity Center since December 2015. The Myanmar Productivity Center was officially established on 22 June 2019 and will be fully operational.

The initiative is part of the project Capacity Building of Industrial Human Resource Development Organization for Productivity Improvement in Myanmar (Phase II) supported by the Government of Japan through the Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF).
